Introduction

Welcome to RevEngage (https://platform.revengage.in), a WhatsApp Business messaging platform operated by Revzion. We understand that privacy is important to our users and we are committed to being transparent about how we collect, use, and protect your information. This policy governs our practices with respect to all visitors and registered users of the platform (collectively, "Users").

Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you register and use RevEngage:

  • Name, email address, and contact information
  • WhatsApp Business Account details (phone number, WABA ID) when you connect your account
  • Message content and conversation history processed through our platform
  • Contact lists and customer data you upload or sync
  • Usage data including IP address, browser type, device information, and activity logs
  • Billing information (processed securely through Razorpay — we do not store card details)

How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, operate, and improve the RevEngage platform
  • To send and receive WhatsApp messages on your behalf via the Meta Cloud API
  • To authenticate your identity and manage your account
  • To process billing and subscription payments
  • To respond to support requests and inquiries
  • To send product updates and important notices (you may opt out of marketing emails)
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

WhatsApp and Meta Data

RevEngage integrates with the Meta WhatsApp Cloud API. When you connect your WhatsApp Business Account, we receive and process messages, delivery receipts, and account status updates from Meta. We use this data solely to power your messaging inbox and automations. We do not sell or share WhatsApp conversation data with third parties for advertising purposes.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following cases:

  • Service providers: We use trusted third parties (Neon for database, Cloudflare R2 for file storage, Upstash for messaging queues, Ably for real-time features) who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.
  • Legal compliance: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or government authority.
  • Business transfer: In the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), encrypted database storage, and restricted access controls. Only authorized personnel with a legitimate need can access user data. While we take commercially reasonable precautions, no system is completely immune to security risks.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Certain data may be retained for legal compliance purposes even after account deletion.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and analyse platform usage. You can configure your browser to reject cookies, but some features may not function correctly without them.

Your Rights
